Allison Macerollo, MD is an Associate Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the Wexner Medical Center of The Ohio State University. She is Vice Chair of Education in her department and oversees educational activities related to UME and GME as well as provide faculty development and mentorship. Clinically she sees patients in the near east side of Columbus and has worked in patient care that focuses on the care of high need communities. One of her key missions has been to provide high quality care for patients who are not able or equipped to demand it.

It is well-established that interprofessional learning must occur in clinical learning environments (IOM, WHO).
