As a University of Oklahoma Health Professor, Dr. Ami Bax serves as Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics (DBP) Section Chief, DBP Fellowship Director, and Oklahoma Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities Co-Director. Dr. Bax is also director of the OU Health Child Study Center and its JumpStart Preschool Autism Evaluation and DBP Medical Clinics. She mentors trainees from multiple disciplines and has collaborated widely in interprofessional research on parenting, preschool ADHD, neurobiologic differences in autism and ADHD, and pandemic associations with development. She is Society for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics Fellowship Training Section Co-Chair and a Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics Research Network Steering Committee Member.

This Lightning Talk will describe the Interprofessional Pediatric Screening Initiative (IPSI) developed through a seed grant from the Office of Interprofessional Education at the University of Oklahoma Health. This innovative learning experience brings together OT, PT, SLP, and medical students to learn how to administer developmental screening assessments as a collaborative team.
