Amy Ricupero is an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice and the Assistant Director of the Non-Traditional Doctor of Pharmacy program at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and has interest in interprofessional activities. She received her Bachelor of Pharmacy and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Boston, MA and her Master of Education degree from The University of Massachusetts in Boston.

Background:  Social Determinants of Health (SDOH), such as insurance status may affect patients’ access to care and health outcomes, however health professions students often receive limited training in how these factors influence team-based care.
