Angelia Nedd, RN, CDCES has been practicing as a nurse for 30 years in various fields such as medical-surgical, oncology, ICU, and telemetry. For the past 20 years, she has worked as a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. She has experience with inpatient and outpatient coordination of programs, developing system-wide educational initiatives for interprofessional staff, providing patient education on diabetes, and developing initiatives to improve glycemic management. She has been a part of various committees at Methodist hospital. She is a UTMB graduate student in the Master's in Nursing Education program and is actively involved in IPE.

More individuals complain about headaches than any other condition. Headaches are disorders without a biological marker; the diagnosis is based on history and symptoms. Migraine is the third most prevalent disorder affecting 15% of Americans.
