Anna Williams is a headache patient who experiences cluster headache, migraine, and trigeminal neuralgia who has found her passion in patient advocacy. She is the Vice president of Clusterbusters and advocates federal policy with the Alliance for Headache Disorders Advocacy and helps plan their Headache on the Hill events. She has been a patient panelist with the Engage Me Series at UTMB for the topics of cluster headache, PTSD, and migraine.

More individuals complain about headaches than any other condition. Headaches are disorders without a biological marker; the diagnosis is based on history and symptoms. Migraine is the third most prevalent disorder affecting 15% of Americans. As the most stigmatized neurological disease, society and media view it as just a bad headache, instead of a debilitating and disabling disease.
