Dr. Autumn Clegg is an Associate Professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy at UT Health San Antonio. She has over 20 years of experience as an occupational therapist working in adult rehabilitation with expertise in working with patients with neuromuscular conditions. Her research background includes outcomes related to interprofessional education (IPE) about ALS, IPE on fall prevention, and IPE on critical care simulations for students, and OT entry-level doctoral capstone outcomes. Dr. Clegg’s community-based research has included funding for collaboration with Meals on Wheels on outcomes and fall risks reduction through home evaluation interventions for home-bound seniors.

• Interprofessional team-based units improve patient outcomes, promote better patient services, and patient satisfaction.
