Dr. Murphy is a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at Cincinnati Children's Medical Center and at the completion of her fellowship, she will stay on as an Assistant Professor with Cincinnati Children's Medical Center and the University of Cincinnati Medical School starting in September, 2025.

Background. Avoidance of important cultural dialogs among behavioral health clinicians lead to worse treatment outcomes. Additionally, the quality of training in cultural humility for doctoral psychology trainees is also inconsistent. This project examined the effectiveness of a cultural humility workshop for behavioral health consultant trainees in primary care on trainee’s self-rated perceptions of cultural humility. Approach.
