Gina Baugh, PharmD, FNAP

As the Director of IPE, Dr. Baugh oversees the IPE efforts in the didactic, simulation, and clinical practice settings for all health professional students at the HSC. Dr. Baugh is active in IPE at a national level, serving on several committees and presenting her work via oral and poster presentations. In 2019, Dr. Baugh completed the Interprofessional Leadership Development Program sponsored by the Interprofessional Education Collaborative and in 2025, she was inducted into the National Academies of Practice as a Distinguished Fellow.

The four core competencies of Interprofessional Education (IPE) as defined by the National Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education are recognized as a gold standard for educational initiatives in health professions’ education.
