Hong Chartrand, DrPH, joined the Virginia Center on Aging (VCoA) as Project Manager for the Geriatric Workforce Enhancement Program (GWEP). Prior to this position, she worked in different settings, including academics, governments and community-based organizations. Hong has over 20 years of experience administering, implementing, and evaluating community- and health system-based programs, policies, and services to improve access to care and population health. She holds a doctoral degree in public health from the University of Arizona.
