Dr. Jessica Rydingsward is an assistant professor of physical therapy at MCPHS University in Worcester, MA. She holds a DPT from MGH Institute of Health Professions and is a Board-Certified Specialist in Cardiovascular & Pulmonary and Geriatric Physical Therapy. With 15 years of clinical experience, she specialized in medically complex patients at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, contributing to published research on discharge prediction and functional mobility outcomes. At MCPHS since 2022, she teaches cardiovascular/pulmonary and geriatric care as well as management of patients in the acute care setting. Her current research focuses on the development of clinical reasoning in acute care patient management and understanding the implications of anti-fat bias in patient care and outcomes
