Ms Joanne Bolton is the longest serving member in the Collaborative Practice Centre, and as Lead - Curriculum she has extensive experience of co-designed interprofessional curriculum that has been implemented and evaluated as large-scale whole of Faculty interprofessional programs. She is currenlty on an invited 12-month secondment as the Lead for Professional Practice theme in the Doctor of Medicine program, University of Melbourne. With 25 years experience as a health professional, the last 14 of these as a health professions academic, she uses her prior experience of over a decade working as a physiotherapist within public health systems in Sydney, London and Melbourne to effect changes in curriculum towards more person-centered, collaborative and culturally-safe healthcare systems.

Description: The Collaborative Practice Centre (CPC), within the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences (FMDHS) at the University of Melbourne in Australia, was charged to design, implement, and evaluate an interprofessional collaborative practice curriculum across 14 health and social care programs.
