Joe Stone is the Board Secretary for Clusterbusters and a cluster headache advocate on the local, regional, and national levels. He has lived with Episodic Cluster Headache for 43 years, experiencing thousands of clusters over that period. He is a trained minister and hospital chaplain with experience in trauma settings. He runs a cluster headache support group and has spoken and counseled hundreds of patients. Joe is a non-profit executive in the Denver area.

More individuals complain about headaches than any other condition. Headaches are disorders without a biological marker; the diagnosis is based on history and symptoms. Migraine is the third most prevalent disorder affecting 15% of Americans. As the most stigmatized neurological disease, society and media view it as just a bad headache, instead of a debilitating and disabling disease.
