Dr. Julie Peterson is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at Creighton University’s School of Pharmacy and Health Professions. Dr. Peterson is the Director of Simulation-Based Learning for Creighton University. She also serves as the Director of Clinical Operations assisting with the operations for Creighton Therapy and Wellness, Creighton Pediatric Therapy, and the Outpatient Community Pharmacy in Omaha, NE. She is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Women’s Health Physical Therapy and Board Certified in Biofeedback for Pelvic Muscle Dysfunctions. Her research interests include pelvic health, clinical reasoning, residency education, and clinical leadership.

The Creighton Interprofessional Collaborative Evaluation (C-ICE) tool plays a key role in assessing students' ability to demonstrate the Interprofessional Education Collaborative (IPEC) Core Competencies within both clinical and simulated settings. The C-ICE is recognized as the only instrument to assess behavioral change in a team's performance, evaluating collaboration, leadership, and communication skills.
