Kathryn (Katie) Hoffman, MA, CHSE, is the Project Manager for West Virginia University's (WVU) Health Sciences Center Office of Interprofessional Education (IPE) and the Simulation Research Coordinator for the STEPS Center. With a strong foundation in program evaluation and research, she has worked in simulation and IPE since 2013. Certified as a Healthcare Simulation Educator since 2019, Katie brings over a decade of experience to her dual roles. She is passionate about creating safe, supportive learning environments where students can build confidence and competence—translating what they learn in simulation into compassionate care for their patients and communities.
