Dr. Kathleen Seurynck is a Full Professor at Eastern Michigan University’s School of Nursing and a Certified Nurse Educator and Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator. With over three decades of experience in nursing education and clinical practice, she is recognized for her leadership in interprofessional education, simulation-based learning, and curriculum development. Dr. Seurynck’s scholarship includes multiple peer-reviewed publications, national presentations, and grant-funded research focused on immersive simulation and team-based care. She holds a DNP from Oakland University and an MS in Medical-Surgical Nursing from the University of Michigan. Her work continues to advance collaborative, evidence-based nursing education.
