Kelli Nielsen is an associate professor in the Doctor of Physical Therapy department at St Catherine University. She completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at the Mayo School of Health Sciences in Rochester, Minnesota. She became an American Board of Physical Therapy Certified Neurological Clinical Specialist in 2013 following completion of a residency at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle, WA and recertified in 2025. Her research interests include simulation, interprofessional collaboration, and postural control. Currently, she's working on her Doctor of Education through A.T. Still University (graduates 2026). Dr. Nielsen practices clinically working primarily in the intensive care unit at M Health Fairview in Minneapolis, MN.
