I am a third-year physician assistant student at UT Health Science Center, San Antonio. I have participated in rural rotations at multiple locations, including Eagle Pass, Bandera, and Sonora, TX. Before attending PA school, I obtained a bachelor's degree in public health from Texas A&M University, where I discovered a passion for serving the underserved and increasing access to care!

The Integrative Clinical Care Experience in Rural Texas (ICCERT) is a HRSA-funded, interprofessional initiative designed to increase the capacity of physician assistant (PA) students to identify, treat, and manage substance use disorders (SUD) in rural communities.
