Kira Rodriguez is a Senior Research Associate with the University of New England's (UNE) Center for Excellence in Public Health and has served as the Program Evaluator for UNE's Center to Advance Interprofessional Education and Research (CAIEP) since 2014 . Ms. Rodriguez is also the lead evaluator for two HRSA funded health workforce programs at UNE: the Maine Area Health Education Center (AHEC) and the Maine Leadership and Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) training programs. She received her BA in Psychology from Brown University and her Master of Health Science (MHS) from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.

The Knowledge Exchange (KE) series seeks to fill gaps in topics not typically found in traditional health curriculum, underscoring social determinants of health and the voices of people with lived experience.
