Assistant Professor of Clinical Nursing
Columbia University
Dr. Deyeso is a nursing educator and simulation leader with over two decades of clinical experience and advanced degrees in nursing leadership and education. I lead simulation-based initiatives to enhance clinical competence, collaboration, and patient safety. Nationally and internationally recognized, I serve on the INACSL Conference Planning and Governance Committees. She proposed research explores AI-powered pre-simulation modules and their impact on nursing students’ preparedness and clinical judgment. This aligns with Sigma’s mission to advance nursing excellence. With a strong foundation in innovation, leadership, and program implementation, she is well-prepared to conduct a rigorous, meaningful study in nursing education.
