Dr. Larson-Prior is a systems neuroscientist whose research focuses on the impact of environmental factors such as sleep, physical activity, nutrition, weight status, age and mental health on cognitive function across the lifespan. To better understand the impact of these factors on cognitive function, her laboratories employ neuroimaging, behavioral and neuropsychological methods. To accomplish her research goals, she relies on a multi-disciplinary team of expert colleagues.

Introduction: Faculty burnout and student distress are reaching a crisis point in healthcare education. The causes are multiple and global. Recent data show that 64% of faculty experience work-related burnout, with 19% reporting a high degree and 15% a very high degree of burnout. Students are navigating persistent post-pandemic fatigue, mental health concerns, financial pressures, and academic challenges.
