Dr. Harrell is a licensed psychiatric nurse practitioner and has specialized in populations experiencing substance abuse and mental health disorders for over 30 years. She has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings including community mental health centers, residential settings, and acute psychiatric hospital recovery. Dr. Harrell has 15 years of experience in the development of integrated licensed clinical services and received national recognition for developing interprofessional community academic partnerships. Dr. Harrell's career is dedicated to the advancement of interprofessional practice in vulnerable populations. She advocates at the micro, meso and macro structural and system levels for health parity.

This lightening talk will present how Interprofessional champion faculty, providers, and students from across multiple Arizona State University colleges and programs collaborated to address gaps in knowledge, skills, strategies, and performance related to real-world, team-based care delivery.
