Lory A. Libby, DHSc, MSDH, RDH, is an Assistant Professor at MCPHS University in the Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene. With over 35 years of experience in clinical practice and higher education, she serves as Clinic Coordinator and teaches across all clinic levels and didactic courses. Dr. Libby integrates evidence-based practice, interprofessional collaboration, and technology into her teaching. A passionate public health advocate, she leads the Fluoridation Subcommittee of the Better Oral Health for Massachusetts Coalition. She is a published author, contributing to peer-reviewed journals and textbooks, and serves as President of the Alpha Eta Honor Society at MCPHS.

Objective: This study evaluates the impact of age on facilitator evaluations of team performance during interprofessional Team Observed Structured Clinical Encounters (TOSCEs). Methods: TOSCEs included students from pharmacy, physician assistant, dental hygiene, and nursing schools utilizing paid actors as standardized patients. Students were assigned 30 min peer-evaluated patient cases focused on interprofessional collaboration in a medical emergency involving opioid use. Cases were run 16 times with 2-3 learners per case.
