Luke Skyler Orgo is an honors student at Binghamton University, majoring in Biological Sciences with a Pre-Med focus, maintaining a 3.82 GPA. He has conducted research in molecular anthropology, focusing on the microbiome and pathogens of Ixodes scapularis ticks, and has performed a meta-analysis on the efficacy of SSRIs. Luke actively volunteers, facilitating environmental education and patient care at nursing homes. His extracurricular involvement includes leadership roles in the Philippine American League, Pre Medical Association, and Science Olympiad, reflecting his dedication to medicine, public health, and community engagement. He plans to graduate from Binghamton University in 2027.

Interprofessional education (IPE) increases students’ self-efficacy to work in interprofessional, person-centered health teams. IPE student leadership organizations have demonstrated an ability to improve students’ feeling about IPE.
