Mary Pesch is a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner and educator with a strong foundation in population health. She teaches in the graduate nursing program at the College of St. Benedict in the family nurse practitioner and leadership tracts. With a focus on underserved communities and improving health systems, she integrates clinical practice with scholarship to influence public health outcomes. Mary's research interests center on population health, end-of-life care, simulation, and improving care for vulnerable populations.

• Background & Statement of Problem:Securing quality clinical placements for nurse practitioner (NP) students remains a national challenge (Gigli & Gonzalez, 2022; McInnis et al., 2021).
