Megan Patrick is an experienced online instructor, instructional designer, and graphic designer with a strong background in transitioning face-to-face learning experiences into high-quality online formats. She collaborates with faculty to design engaging and effective online courses meeting the needs of today’s learners. Guided by a commitment to fostering trust and empathy throughout the course design process, she ensures seamless partnerships between instructional designers and faculty. Megan earned her Ed.D. in Leadership and Innovation in September 2024. Her research focuses on improving collaboration in the online course design process, emphasizing strategies to strengthen communication, build relationships, and enhance overall design experience.

Introduction to Interprofessional Education (IPE) at the University of Michigan (U-M) began as a 1.5-hour asynchronous module, serving as an assignment for first-year students in various health profession programs, introducing them to two IPEC competencies.
