Dr. Megan Roberts is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics of the College of Medicine at the University of Oklahoma Health (OUHSC) where she directs the Oklahoma Interdisciplinary Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and related Disabilities (LEND) program. preparing future service providers and advocates in disability related fields. She impacts health education on the OUHSC campus as a member of the Academy of Teaching Scholars (ATS), and co-facilitator of the Health Education Research Organization (H.E.R.O.) group. Dr. Roberts was awarded the OUHSC Interprofessional Educators and Practitioners Association Outstanding Leader of the year in 2024 and Interprofessional Team of the Year in 2025.

This Lightning Talk will describe the Interprofessional Pediatric Screening Initiative (IPSI) developed through a seed grant from the Office of Interprofessional Education at the University of Oklahoma Health. This innovative learning experience brings together OT, PT, SLP, and medical students to learn how to administer developmental screening assessments as a collaborative team.
