Meghan Gamache is a recent Post-Baccalaureate Doctor of Occupational Therapy graduate from Quinnipiac University. Her experiences include roles with the Coalition of Occupational Therapy Advocates for Diversity, Level II fieldwork at the St. Vincent de Paul Middletown Source Kitchen, and at Middlesex Health in three specialty areas - Lymphedema, Pelvic Health and Incontinence, and Pulmonary Rehabilitation. She has also volunteered across the palliative care continuum. Meghan is dedicated to serving underserved communities and advocating for equitable care. For her Capstone Project, she developed interprofessional training modules to prepare students and improve competence and confidence for providing holistic, person-centered end-of-life care.

Effective end-of-life (EoL) care requires a nuanced understanding of patient needs, compassionate communication, and evidence-based best practices.
