Dr. Melissa Dalhoe is an Assistant Professor and Inclusive Excellence & Well-Being Assistant Director at the University of Minnesota's (UMN) Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences, and Program Director and fidelity-rated Family Clinician for the UMN's NAVIGATE program, an interprofessional team-based approach to treating first episode psychosis. Dr. Dalhoe is a licensed clinical social worker who specializes in the assessment and treatment of first episode psychosis and working with families impacted by serious mental illness. She also provides training and consultation in the NAVIGATE model, and director and family clinician roles for sites across the U.S. and Canada.

Presenting at the Nexus Summit:

This Seminar builds upon a Lightning Talk presented at the 2024 Nexus Summit. The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Minnesota (UMN) Medical School has devoted a decade of effort toward bolstering its interprofessional education workforce. At the 2024 Summit, presenters shared results from a half-day workshop with faculty and learners on interprofessional collaborative practice.
