Dr. Michael Andreae is a Professor of Anesthesiology at the University of Utah. His research interests are in health systems and healthcare disparities research. He completed his medical degree at the University of Bonn, German, Master degrees at Imperial College London, and Columbia University, New York and an executive MBA at the Smeal College of Business, Penn State. His PhD was awarded by Freiburg University. He is the lead principal inverstigator on the Consortium of Rural States (CORES) Multi-Institutional Pilot Program, funded through the NCATS grant (UL1TR004409), which funded this study.
