I currently serve as Professor of Family Medicine and Senior Associate Dean of Clinical Education at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM). I am a Board certified Family physician who graduated from PCOM in 1987. My past career roles include: former Vice Chair of the Department of Family Medicine of PCOM prior to serving as Assistant Dean of Clerkship Education, and then Associate Dean of Clinical Education. I returned to PCOM as full time faculty in 2009 after concluding my role as the Program Director for the PCOM/Mercy Suburban Hospital Family Medicine residency program. While at Mercy Suburban Hospital I also served as the Medical Director for St. Joseph's Villa in Flourtown, Pennsylvania. I have co-authored articles related to IPE, and co-wrote a chapter on Medicine and Spirituality in The Handbook of Religion and Health.
