Nabiha Chaudhry is a medical student at the University of Minnesota with strong interests in health equity, global health, community-based initiatives, and interprofessional collaboration. She serves on the executive board of her school’s Student National Medical Association (SNMA) chapter, is a Minnesota Medical Association student delegate, and an Interprofessional Education Scholar. She is a lead developer of a social determinants of health resource initiative for the Hennepin Healthcare Pediatric Mobile Health Clinic. Through this project, she aims to strengthen care delivery for underserved populations and support innovative approaches to community health.

The Interprofessional Internship Program (IIP) at the University of Minnesota is an innovative internship model targeting students’ interprofessional competencies through hands-on, partnered engagement with community organizations to solve real-world challenges. Over its first five years, the program supported 36 projects with 19 community organizations and involved 69 students from 24 academic programs.
