Dr. Pasklinsky is a recognized leader in simulation-based nursing education, serving as Associate Professor and Assistant Dean of Simulation at Columbia University School of Nursing. She presents nationally and internationally on simulation pedagogy and led global initiatives in Liberia and China. Her work has advanced curricular innovation, earned awards for teaching excellence, and contributed to humanistic care during the COVID-19 pandemic. A Fellow of the New York Academy of Medicine, Pasklinsky holds leadership roles in Sigma Theta Tau. Her expertise in simulation design, implementation, and research supports my vision for advancing nurse-led simulation to improve healthcare outcomes.

Interprofessional conflict is a persistent challenge in healthcare, often stemming from communication breakdowns, unclear roles, and unspoken hierarchies. These issues can compromise patient safety, erode trust, and diminish team effectiveness. This seminar explores simulation as a high-impact educational strategy to surface and de-escalate these tensions.
