Rhonda Maria Williams, M.Sc., MPH, is an Advanced Learner in Interprofessional Education at East Tennessee State University, where she is pursuing her Doctor of Public Health with a concentration in Health Service Management and Policy. Rhonda holds a joint MSc in Infectious Diseases and One Health and an MPH. With her diverse background in public health, medicine, and veterinary public health, she emphasizes women's health, maternal healthcare access, and One Health. Rhonda leverages interprofessional collaboration to address health disparities in marginalized communities, enhancing the effectiveness of public health initiatives through teamwork and shared expertise.

Background, including statement of problem, and aims:The WHO (2010) called for preparing faculty to facilitate IPE. However, faculty feel ill-prepared to facilitate IPE (Ratka et al., 2017). Most health professions students are not trained as IPE facilitators. IPE Programs are challenged to hire faculty ready to facilitate IPE. Hoffman, Harris and Rosenfield (2009) have outlined the importance of mentorship in IPE.
