Sara Stainthorpe is the Director of the Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Program and Co-Lead of the Alzheimer's Interprofessional Training Program (AVIT) at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. She also practices in a primary care office in Oley, Pennsylvania. With over 10 years of experience as both a primary care nurse practitioner and educator, Sara has a passion for preventive medicine, chronic disease management, motivational interviewing, interprofessional education, and simulation. She holds a BSN degree from Cedar Crest College in Allentown and both MSN and DNP degrees from Thomas Jefferson University.
