Tracy Bonoffski is a Senior Lecturer at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in the Department of Applied Physiology, Health and Clinical Sciences. She has a BS from Cornell University in Nutritional Science, MS from Wake Forest University in Exercise Science and an EdD in Kinesiology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. At UNC Charlotte, she is a member of the IPE Taskforce and recently completed her dissertation on IPE in Higher Education. Prior her appointment at UNC Charlotte she worked in the field of clinical nutrition and cardiac rehabilitation.

Interprofessional education (IPE) fosters collaboration among allied health disciplines to improve patient care. The COVID-19 pandemic underscored the need for cross-disciplinary skills in healthcare (Goldman & Xyrichis, 2020). Effective IPE requires structured integration in health programs to enhance teamwork and patient outcomes (Sultan et al., 2022).
