Trevor Cooper, MD, MMP, is a Preventive Medicine Chief Resident at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health (UWSMPH). With a background in community health education, medical education, and public health he aims to address the greatest challenges to our healthcare system through an interprofessional lens. Most recently, this has led to the exploration of trust as a critical metric for improving the health of our communities.

Background: National surveys have noted a decline in trust with the US healthcare system among the public, which accelerated during the COVID-19 pandemic.
