Abbigayle Avery graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a BA in Communication Studies. Abbigayle has a background in Residence Life, Conference Services and Student Affairs, coordinating large-scale events for UWO. Abbigayle began her current role as the Health Sciences Administrative Coordinator for the Center for Health Interprofessional Programs (CHIP) at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities in 2021. Abbigayle contributes to the co-curricular interprofessional work of CHIP by coordinating student-driven, interprofessional programming, student services, and spaces for health professional students to connect, learn and grow together.

Recognizing that in 2020 we would have a new Health Science Education Center (HSEC), we knew this was an opportunity to study the effects of the building on the informal interactions that students have with each other.
