Dr. Courtney Barry is a licensed clinical health psychologist and assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She is also a community-engaged researcher with expertise in trauma and trauma-informed care and the Director of the Interprofessional Education Thread for the Medical College of Wisconsin School of Medicine.

This Lightning Talk highlights an innovative Interprofessional Education (IPE) workshop—IPEssentials—hosted by the Medical College of Wisconsin, which brought together over 500 health professions students from 10 diverse programs across the Milwaukee area.
