Ethan is a 4th-year veterinary student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison with interests in small animal medicine, particularly Dentistry and Oral surgery, One Health, and interprofessional education. He holds a Global Health Certificate and participates in the CIPE Path of Distinction program. His current research includes endodontic therapies in dogs, clinical reasoning in veterinary students, and empathy among medical, veterinary, and pharmacy students. Outside of school, Ethan enjoys hiking, attending concerts, and watching movies.

As evidence mounts for the positive patient and workforce outcomes of interprofessional education (IPE), educators must not only offer comprehensive instruction of IPEC competencies but also nurture the next generation in IPE leadership and scholarship.
