Jennifer Timm, DNP, RN, PHN is the Director for the University of Wisconsin-Madison Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education and a Clinical Associate Professor in the School of Nursing. Dr. Timm has led efforts to develop, redesign, and integrate interprofessional education and collaborative practice in academic curriculum and clinical education in undergraduate and graduate academic programs in a variety of community and public health settings, with a particular focus in rural health. Her research and scholarship have focused on interprofessional clinical education, service learning, care for rural and underserved populations, and nursing leadership.

As the global population ages, the number of people living with dementia (PLwD) is rising rapidly, placing increasing demands on healthcare systems. Yet, traditional health sciences curricula often lack sufficient focus on brain health, caregiver support, and interprofessional collaboration.
