Dr. Joe Vuthiganon is an Associate Professor in the Department of Reconstructive & Rehabilitation Sciences at MUSC’s James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine. He earned his DMD from MUSC and completed an AEGD residency at UNC-Chapel Hill. Upon returning to Charleston, he joined the MUSC faculty full-time. Dr. Vuthiganon chairs the Curriculum Committee and serves as course director for several dental courses. He is recognized for his leadership in curriculum development and his engaging, theatrical teaching style.
