Meghan Weber, DNP, MBA, APRN, FNP-BC, is Director of APP Education and Fellowship Programs at OSF HealthCare, where she leads system-wide initiatives to support advanced practice providers through innovative training, simulation, and preceptor development. A board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, she brings over a decade of clinical and educational experience, including digital health, rural primary care, and emergency medicine. Meghan has presented nationally on APP fellowship development and recruitment strategies and co-authored peer-reviewed publications. She is an advocate for expanding APP education to underserved communities and serves on the board of the Association of Post Graduate APRN Programs.

In the fast-paced world of urgent and primary care, maintaining procedural competency is essential for delivering high-quality and efficient patient care. The OSF APP Education Department developed a program, APP Skills Day, in response to feedback from outpatient providers and learners regarding skills in which they feel underprepared to perform or frequently refer patients elsewhere for evaluation and management.
