Rachel Lucas, PharmD, BCCP is a clinical assistant professor of cardiology pharmacy within the Department of Pharmacy Practice at Binghamton University School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. She also serves as a cardiology clinical pharmacy specialist at Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital. Most recently, Dr. Lucas was appointed as the Director of the Rural and Underserved Service Track (TRUST), which is a 2-year, co-curricular, microcredentialled program between SUNY Upstate Medical University and Binghamton University. This interprofessional program, comprised of students from 6 disciplines, focuses on the educational care of rural and underserved patient populations through didactic retreats and community service.

Panel discussions are widely used in health professions education to foster collaboration and engagement, yet there is limited evidence guiding their effective design or impact on interprofessional learning.
