Mitzy D. Flores is Executive Direction of Simulation and Experiential Learning at the University of South Florida. Her leadership extends to both the undergraduate and graduate nursing programs, and expands to its three sister campuses. Her clinical background includes nurse supervisor of acute care settings and other out-patient community clinic settings both nationally and globally. Mitzy practices and is certified as an Advanced Holistic Nurse (AHN-BC), and is an alumni of Theorist Dr. Jean Watson, School of Caring Sciences. As such she is certified and practices as a Caritas Coach. Her research intrest are those of healthcare simulation, particularly those areas of interprofessional intersections.
