Interprofessional Education Collaborative
Shelley collaborates with 22 member associations of the Interprofessional Education Collaborative (IPEC) to advance evidence-based teaching and collaborative practice. She led the 2023 revision of the IPEC Core Competencies, a literature review on IPE, and faculty development programs. Shelley serves on the IPEC Planning and Advisory Committee and as Board Secretary. At the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), she coordinated Quality and Safety Education for Nurses (QSEN) grants funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and Gordon & Betty Moore Foundation and contributed to AACN’s 2016 report, Advancing Healthcare Transformation. She holds a B.A. from Seton Hall University.

This seminar will provide faculty, clinical educators, and IPE leaders with promising practices for applying the 2023 IPEC Core Competencies to prepare learners for effective interprofessional collaborative practice.
